DAY 01

Airport- Negombo

On arrival you will be met by our English speaking Guide (or your proffered language guide). Then you will be transfer to the Beach Hotel in Negombo (Only 15 minute drive from the airport). Enjoy the evening at leisure on the beach or visit a fishing village. Overnight stay in Negombo.

DAY 02

Negombo-Habarana

After you enjoy a refreshing breakfast we travel to Habarana. We Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way. It’s an institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants for many years. Leaving early can have two benefits. You can observe elephant calves milk fed and elephants that are bathing in the river. Then we drive to Dabulla Golden Rock cave temple a historical site dating back to the 1st century B.C.E. These caves include 157 Buddha statues and fascinating ceiling paint depicting the life of Buddha. Overnight at Habarana.

DAY 03

Habarana-Polonnaruwa

After breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa. The medieval capital of Sri Lanka. There you can see very well preserved rock cut Buddha statues in Galviharaya, citadel monuments, Image houses, huge Dagabas, Hindu temples beautiful paintings and ancient monasteries, overnight stay in Polonnaruwa..

DAY 04

Polonnaruwa-Sigiriya

After an early breakfast drive to Sigiriya to visit Unsesco Site Lion Rock. This was built by King Kashapa in the 5th century that has remains of the complex of Royal Palaces, fortified town and most attractive fresco paintings. Enjoy an adventurous Jeep Safari in the evening. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

DAY 05

Sigiriya-Trincomali-Nilaweli

We drive from Sigiriya to Trincomali after breakfast, Visit the Fort Fredrick which was built by the Portuguese in 1623. Later captured by Dutch and then seized by British in 1795. The famous Koneswaram Temple is located inside this fort. A legendary temple became a based to many mysterious stories. Overnight stay in Nilaweli.

DAY 06

Nilaweli

Nilaweli is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. Spend the day either snorkeling, scuba diving or sunbathing on the soft sandy beach.

DAY 07

Nilaweli-kandy

After breakfast we drive to Kandy. On the way we visit Matale Hindu temple and Matale Aluwiharaya Temple which is the historic location where the Pali Canon was first engraved completely on Ola (palm) leaves. Aluwiharaya has various monastery caves, some of which exhibit fine frescoes. Overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY 08

Kandy

After breakfast Kandy city visit, city still preserves its 17th-century prestige. You can visit the Temple of the Tooth focal point of modern Buddhism. Large variety of plants, foliage and ferns can be found at the Peradiniya Botanical Gardens. Collectively there are 4000 species, including indigenous and introduced plants. Overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY 09

Kandy-Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast travel to the Hill Country. Central Highlands of Sri Lanka is famous for finest tea. Visit Rush Waterfall flowing through the green tea estate. Tea plantations, tea factories and buildings are evidence for Colonial Architecture. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 10

Nuwara Eliya- Ella

Journy to Horton Plains National Park will start at 5.30A.M., This is the only national park situated in the hill country. Great place for nature lovers, hikers and bird watchers. Come Back to the hotel and checking out to drive to Ella on the way visiting Sitha Devi Hindu temple and Huggala Botanical Garden. Huggala Garden is the only Cinchona Plantation and adapted to an experimental garden for the acclimatization of plants from temperate zones in the tropics. Overnight stay in Ella.

DAY 11

Ella-Tissamaharama

After breakfast drive to Tissamaharama. On the way to visiting waterfall coming through green hills and Buduruwagala (stone images of the Buddha) one of the most remarkable spiritual sites located within rocky clearing of a magical dry zone forest. This forest is popular for colorful birds and butterflies. In the evening we take a wild safari trip in Yala National Park, the most popular wildlife park where you can see most of the animals which are found in Sri Lanka. Overnight stay in Tissamaharama.

DAY 12

Tissamaharama- Mirissa

After breakfast proceed to Mirissa. The evening can be spent on the breathtaking sandy beach. Overnight stay in Mirissa.

DAY 13

Mirissa-Galle

After breakfast travel to Galle A popular fishing destination. On the way visit the Weligama stick fishing attraction. In the evening a visit to Galle Fort, a well preserved fortified city built originally by the Dutch. Overnight stay in Galle.

DAY 14

Galle-Negombo
